A common question I get asked is “do you do DPF deletes?”

Given I have one of the first versions VW ever created, and on an older style PD mechanical injection engine as well, I am the first to know the downfalls and dramas the modern DPF can cause. They are painful enough when running properly, but when they play up, well it’s a bloody nightmare. The bottom line is my answer is invariably “no”, and there’s several reasons why.
